The way I figure, if I can trust a guy to fly, boat, or drive myself and or my family some where, safely.  hey why not tip them.  You tip every time you go to a restraunt.  Most pilots or charters have your life in there hands.  I figure a good tip is a small price to pay for the satisfaction that they kept me safe and I have memories to last a life time.  We flew on a caribou hunt once, ran out of money, so we just gave them all the food and liquor we had left after the hunt.  Everyone in the camp was very greatful. So depending on the situation, I say do what you can to show a little appreciation.
