I never said anything about maximum abundance.  Probably every wildlife student in the last 30 years has heard the hard lessons of overpopulation in Wildlife Management 101 in school.  I certainly did, and I remember it well.

So...I'm with you, twodux. Let's have abundance, but within the limits of the land to support it in the long term.  Or...if necessary, let's find ways to improve habitats to support more....like Rx fire where there are important assets that might be damaged by wildfire.
