I have got my 338 sighted in for anything inside 300 yards with no compensation and I did that on purpose when sighting in for my upcoming brown bear hunt this spring. If I have a good rest and the bear is broadside at 75 yards or 275 yards he's losing his shoulders and everything between them. For the rest of the story well just have to wait and see!
