At 3.3" high at 100, it gives a point blank range with a 4" radius vital zone of 328 yards. The bullet shoud be 4" high, it's high point, at 155 yards and zeroed at 279 yards. I realize this is all how the bullet "should" travel, and actual field performance varies. I guess that if the bear is 155 yards away, hitting 4" above point of aim will still put me well in the vital zone.
