Your 375 Wby

Blackfoot,

That's good you do your home work.  I see a couple of what I would call flaws in this theorum.  First the bullet.  It isn't what I would call a bullet for bruin.  Secondly why introduce errors into the trajectory that may come back to haunt you.  Specifically the 4" M.O.

Why not sight in with a 300 grain Partition, or A-frame at 2700 fps. Sight in 2.0" high at 100 yds, this would give an M.O. @115 yds of about 2.0",  and a zero at about 200 yds and about 2" low at 230 yds, with a Max PBR of 260 yds for a 4" radius. (4.0" low at 260yds).  Better bullet for bear.  Better trajectory for bear, for a more precise shot.  Truly a good plan of trajectory for any range that would be reasonable for brown bears.  You'll need every edge, up against the tough guys.  Don't you just love the 375 Weatherby.
Good shootin'.

Murphy
