MRE
Posted by Josh_AK on Mar 15 2006
Take some MRE's, they are great. However they do take up a lot of room. So this is what I do. Take them out of the pack they are in throw away all the cardboard. Then this is very important throw away the "white bread" and "pound cake". They are very heavy and taste like the cardboard. Inside of every MRE there are condiment packs; that have good stuff in them like toilet paper, small bottle of Tabasco sauce, salt, pepper, matches, instant tea or soda powder packs as well as matches that say there "moisture proof" but there not.  I had bad experiences with them in Korea. I ended up not smoking as much and it turned into a long day .So keep them dry. Every meal pack comes with its own heat pack just add water, and then let it sit for about 10-15 min. One fun thing about heat packs though. If you want I will send you the info on how to make a bomb with them. "Well a small explosive device that will scare the crap out of friends". Any way if you need more info just email me. Later
