food / meals

You can go to Carrs & bag you own thin spagehtti, or couscous, then get a .99 bag of instant sauce of your choice.
Freeze dry or cook & freeze a lb. of groundbeef & put in a ziploc.
If you go with MRE's take them apart & only take the entres, you don't even need the heater just throw the pouch in a pan of boiling water for a couple minutes.
Take a couple Mtn House meals, & no matter what ... alwayws take instant mashed potatoes from Idahoan. Must be Idahoan only, no subs in a 4oz packet/ envelope cost about 1.29 each.
These are the greatest way better than ramen noodles & they in a small pouch bag, all you do is boil 2 cups of water & stir in potatoes.
Already flavored you can't go wrong, ( in fact I like these so much I stock the cuboards at the house with them & eat with regular meals at home. )
Finally if you have a sweet tooth take a couple bags of instant pudding & couple envelopes of instant milk.  Have way thorough a week long hunt it is awful tasty ( especially warmed up )
