I am also going back and forth between a fast .338 and a normal to fast .375. I am not going to give you advice because I have no experience with either caliber. I will say that if you give a description of the calibers you currently own that the people on this forum will probably give their best info on what they think your next step up in caliber should be. I personally own a .270 win and a 45-70 marlin. I'm almost positive my next rifle will be a 375 H&H. The reason is because I am planning on owning my previous two rifles along with a 375 and a 458 win or lott. then I have a .270 for almost every NA game, a 45-70 just because I think it's a cool chambering and powerful for tight woods shots, a 375 because it will take any north American game with confidence and also for interest, and the 458 win or lott for a pure interest and dreams of Africa or huge game in NA. I'm pretty sure either which caliber you choose you will feel pretty confident after you fire it once and feel the power these chamberings provide. Just don't be a lazy ass and go to hunt with something you haven't practiced with. I wish you good luck and happiness with which either of the two you choose. Have fun, and no regretts Previous: 375 all the way Snowwolfe Mar 16 2006 Message Thread:
