My big question in this is why would anyone have to shoot a deer at 260 yards in Kodiak?! "Hunt more, shoot less." or to modify that quote, "Hunter better, shoot shorter!" The .375 is plenty in the hands of a responsible shooter and the ammo is cheaper so you'll be able to afford to shoot it more.
