I have my theories on this subject but would like to know if there is a general consensus on bullet exit wounds or do you feel it depends on the game animal? I used to believe in light fast bullets that are totally absorbed by the animal with no exit.I'm not talking about going out of the realm of common sense with regards to caliber to animal, ie; shooting deer with .22-250 etc., but after having seen many animals run to dense cover after a heart/lung shot with no blood trail it seems to make more sense to always have a bullet exit. If dangerous game is hunted I would assume that one would always want to have a bullet/caliber tough enough to break both shoulders. Period. Right or wrong? All thoughts and experiences are appreciated. Jeff L Next: If you don't get passthroughs on broadsides... Paul H Mar 18 2006 Message Thread:
