Two Holes Always
Posted by Murphy on Mar 17 2006
Jeff,

You're getting good input(er!) on this subject already.  Penetration, totally, both lungs, two holes out and beyond!  The countryside should be pock marked with the blood stained bullets of the hunter.  What could possibly be gained by the animal absorbing the all the energy.  If the tough tissue of the animal stops the bullet before reaching the vitals, we have a wounded animal and one that will take longer to expire than one that has its vitals destroyed.  The woods are full of animals that died a week or so after the season closed, only to be protein for the scavengers.
Always, use enough gun and enough bullet.  Good shootin'.
