I prefer a lighter boot, and my hunt is August 20. I know the hiker is uninsulated and only 8" tall verses the 10" hunter model. Will the hiker have enough support in the rocks, and possibly a heavy pack should I kill a ram, or should I go with the heavier insulated hunter model and play it safe. Next: Meindl Hunters For Sure!
