Yeah, it's an imperfect process, and I'm sure some will slip through.  Especially now that I've told everyone that's what I'm doing.  Some folks are great liars.

It's a risky situation, but somebody has to do it.  It's either that or say nothing.  If I take that road, they'll come out anyway.  Will we end up with slob hunters on Adak?  You bet we will.  But if we try to filter some of them out, perhaps we'll slow them down a bit.  I'm willing to try.  Ultimately I'm not responsible for the actions of people who receive information I provide; they are.  The fact is that they'll come out whether I give them information or not.  I'm not making any assurances to anyone beyond simply attempting to filter out slob hunters.  But everyone knows that some will slip through.  How they're treated after the fact will determine whether they'll be back.  Bring on the heat!
