You could be charged in the brush, while hiking an open trail, climbing a mountain, or fishing a stream or river. How do you prepare yourself when a bear comes over the top of a ridge while your hiking up a mountain or when your back is turned and your fishing? I have never heard of "practicing" for a bear charge either, how does one do that other than shot your weapons at a range in different positions.
