Is it fishing season already?  I saw your baited hook, but wasn't tempted to bite.  You know what they say, fishing is a jerk on one end of a line waiting for a jerk on the other end!

Let's take this at face value and say you actually ARE curious whether this is a fenced herd or not.  Doesn't that same perspective apply to transplanted elk on Afognak and Raspberry?  How about bison over near Farewell?  I mean, does the size of the "island" really matter?  

As to the availability of info, all I'm trying to do is to talk to folks before I hand what I have over to them.  If they can get the same information another way, no problem for me.  Just trying to help out, that's all.

BTW, as you know, most of this is my poor attempt at humor- nothing personal.
