I have been charged 4 times, bluff yes but still got 10 to 15 yards from me. I yelled as loud as i could at all 4 it worked on the first 3 they stood on there hind legs then turnd and when back in the woods..  the 4th Bear was a Sow with 2 cubs i was glassing a lake i though i could here something in the grass next to me as i turned to look the sow took of runing going from my left to right and end behind me at about 30 yards. She was then out of sight so i backed out in to the swap triying to give my self some room to see.. Relly thick timber got about 10 yards into the swamp and stoped about 5 10 secs later here she came i yelled nother happened she just keep coming. The only thing i was thinking was [ONE GOOD SHOT] i put the crosshares one her and about 8 yards i shot she turned and went back in to the wood and died. After it was all over now i now for sure the the first 3 were just bluffs as they were loffing at me compared to this bear she was 3 times a fast. the one thing i no now is dont lose your cool and thing about the fact that you have ONE SHOT and place it well your life could depend one it....    The spelling is messed up i know but hay im dislexic and cant spell.. O-well
