From your other posts in this thread nothing was said to indicate you were using game bags at all- hence my comments.  Your experience with Alaska Game Bags is similar to mine though.  I tried them one season (with only one moose) and was fortunate to have a backup set of game bags with me of the regular cloth kind I've been using for years.  Anyway it was cold enough that the flies were not flying, so we didn't have fly eggs to contend with- but it was obvious that once we stretched the bag around a hind quarter that there would be problems.  Never again!  I'm back to my regular bags I purchase from Alaska Mill and Feed here in Anchorage.

Keep in mind that I try to write to anyone who might read this and need to know things you probably already know.  I learned a long time ago that you can't assume anything.  No harm intended.  Sounds like you're as concerned about proper meat care as I.
