Sounds good-once you get it really zeroed-the real shots you won't feel. Now get a good set of iron sights as backup.

I have an early M-70 pre-64. Its heavy-but its in 375 Weatherby by Al Biesen-and it shoots 350 gr Barnes bullets or 300 gr Nosler/Hawks.
It is like another complete caliber. Confidence factor is off the map
