Did the oil come out clean or was it milky? If it's all clean I would make sure that belt is dry and change the oil filter then add the oil you plan on using in your machine. One more thing i forgot to mention is to make sure your exhaust is drained also, I had a friend float his wheeler down a river last fall and it took us a while to get everything cleaned out, we would pull the spark plug out and turn the motor over a few seconds at a time, we got a lot of the water out this way. Once you get it all cleaned out, ride for a little bit then change your oil one more time, that should get it cleaned out like new.
