Dear Mr. Peltier,

I wanted to write and thank you for allowing me the tremendous opportunity to hunt the Tok Management Area in the great state of Alaska through the TMA Governors Tag.  It was obvious that the state is managing this area well and I hope will continue to do, as this was an unbelievable hunt and remarkable experience!  My outfitter, Matt Snyder (of Alaska Hunting Adventures) and his family, were great hosts.  Because of their vast knowledge of the area, prescouting, and all around guiding abilities, I was able to harvest a beautiful 41.5" ram!  Their professionalism, hospitality, and over all outfitting skills, were second to none, and made the experience the most enjoyable one could have!  Of course none of this would have been possible with the issuance of the Governor Tag!  Being an avid sheep hunter for twenty five years, and life member of the Foundation for North American Wild Sheep (FNAWS), I feel very committed to helping wild sheep, so I strongly believe Alaska can continue to get the most funds for its Governor Tags by allowing FNAWS to auction the Tags, as no other organization would have as much interest in wild sheep and wild sheep hunting.  The Eastern Chapter of FNAWS is one of the largest of the FNAWS chapters and has always had a tremendous attendance and interest in its yearly fund raising auction.  The chapter is also on record as having given back one of the largest percentages of its funds raised to wildlife programs and to the states that are giving an honest effort managing wildlife.  So in my best opinion, Alaska could not do any better than to allow the Eastern Chapter of FNAWS to continue auctioning the Tok Governors Tag.  To sum up, I had always had a dream to hunt an honest 40" ALASKAN Dall ram, and the Governor's Tag offered me a wonderful opportunity to do so!  It was the thrill of a lifetime!
