We have implemented a solution to speed up forum posting. This
should take care of most of the pressing forum speed problems,
although there remain a few slow functions.
OutdoorsDirectory.com is serving 55,000+ pageviews per day right now,
so the server is under a fairly heavy load.
We have an interesting change ahead on OutdoorsDirectory.com This
will be of particular interest if you hunt out of state. I'm
not going to be more specific than that, but we're excited about it.
Watch for it in the weeks ahead.
Best of luck with hunting this season.....David

NEWS: August 26, 2005 -- The
Alaska Department of Fish and Game is reminding goose hunters
heading for the Alaska Peninsula, the Aleutians, and Western Alaska
a to check their waterfowl regulations for changes in hunting
seasons and bag limits. (GMU) 9, the Alaska Peninsula, and
GMU 18, the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta, have reduced harvest
opportunities but GMU 10, the Aleutian Islands, will be open to
hunting geese for the first time in 30 years. For more complete
regulations online, see
www.wildlife.alaska.gov/
RESOURCES: August 23, 2005 -- Author and publisher Tony Russ has
released a new book,

McCann on how to successfully hunt the seven species of grouse and
ptarmigan in the state.

1, 2006.
NEWS: August 17, 2005 --

NEWS: August 13, 2005 -- The state's plan to allow the

designed to reduce the overall population because of nutritional
stress.
NEWS: August 10, 2005 -- Alaska Governor Frank Murkowski
recently signed
legislation to promote and protect hunting, fishing, and trapping as

Representative Mike Kelly, who crafted language based on similar
legislation in Michigan.
NEWS: August 10, 2005 -- State

many times over the years as well, the Fairbanks Daily News Miner
reports.
