Some comments on Alaska Hunting Adventure
| The tape is well done- especially considering that it was a solo trip,
with the taping being done by the hunter himself! Any of you who have tried
to videotape your hunt know how challenging it is to set up good shots in
the field- this guy did it all himself, and did it well! I thought the tape
really captured some of the things that make Alaska unique, without
sugar-coating the experience. You see the rain, hear the wind, feel the wet
snow blowing against your cheek, and see the camera shake with excitement as
a stalk is made on a big bull caribou. Lots of game footage, including some
good shots of our burgeoning wolf population! Michael Strahan

After watching this video, I was stunned by its breath-taking scenery
and his ethical stance on hunting. It was superbly filmed, especially since
it was shot by a non-professional director.
Buck's river adventure instilled a sense of thought, amazement, and pure
delight that lasted three days. That says a lot from a person who makes his
living in the Alaska wilderness.
Buck filmed several nice (legal) bull moose and chose not to shoot because
of his conditions. That tells me that he is truly an ethical hunter, and no
one else could have made this video stand out like Buck.
I recommend that everyone interested in hunting Alaska buy this video.
Though it is a glorified home video, you'll be pleasantly surprised to
experience it, and you'll be sorry when it ends.
