Getting a bit old now so Ive bought 18 Aire Lion tubes and am planning to weld up frame an attach 8 hp Honda for some lakes and resivors in Idaho Wyom & Montana. Lots to see. Aire doesn't sell many Lion tubes apparently at 28 inch dia.and very long water line they are made for heavy load. Dont want to haul moose, elk or 4 wheelers...just some grandkids, cooler and of course portapotta for moma. I saw a message from TradBow couple or three years back on some design work and suggestion of planned experiment on floor arranagement to effect tube wake underneath etc and effect to outboard. I Have good wood/metal fabricate shop setup and skills but would like to hone design other than thru trial and error. Would like to hear from TradBow and Mike Strahan or Phil G on their experiences. Next: will not make the wife too happy... Brian Richardson Feb 24 2006 Message Thread:
