Cruising PWS

I am interested in hearing what you guys would think an adequate boat would be for cruising PWS (from Seward). Probably would not spend more than 3-4 days at a time, maybe 3-4 guys on the boat. Fishing a must, have heard that the construction of Bayliners can be suspect (not as structurally sound as a hand-laid boat?). Also, does anyone know of an outfit that would rent a 25' or so in Seward?
