it sounds like you guys really know what your talking about.  I have a few of questions though.  First, is sea kyaking much different from lake or river kyaking? Also, I hear that their are a ton of mosquitos in the summer. On our supply list it says to bring bug spray, but what else would you suggest? I know Brian said to bring a headnet, but that seems like it would get annoying and obstruct vission, but then again, what do I know :-).  On the supply list it also says not to wear deoderant because it attracts bears. Is that really true!? Are there that many bears around the Fjord? If there are, would you suggest that I hang food in trees while I'm sleeping?  One more thing... It's kind of unrelated to kyaking but I was just wondering if anyone here has gone to APU for college.  It seems like a really good school, but I'd like to hear about it from an insider's perspective.
