April 15th is when the shrimping starts. I headed out the weekend after this last year, and it was great, although we could find no Halibut. I think this year we will do the same, but head south a bit bu Knight, given the weather is good. It was pretty cool (literally and figurativly) we were breaking a thin layer of ice that froze over night all the way around the back of ester island!
