The Hondas dont have enough power in the smaller Outboard/Jet configuration IMO. I have 2 buddies with Hondas and although quiet , and smooth running they dont have enough umph. Both my buddies have the max rated HP outboards and both boats are very slow, and not to mention they run wide open all the time becasue of the lack of power so the fuel efficiency isnt great. Also they are so much more expensive, they arent what I am looking for, but thanks for your opinion.
