[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] flushing a jet Posted by swampdonkey on Mar 17 2006 I don't believe that there is an adapter kit for flushing jets like there are for props. This time of year it might be impossible (most likely), but IF it is possible, take your boat and back it in a lake or down a fresh water (river) launch and run it for a minute or two and that should do it. The water intake hole is up inside of the jet foot behind the impellor, so therefore the foot must be submerged. Your local boat shop might have their test tank available too, maybe not.
