I doubt this helps, but I had a zodiac with an aluminum floor that was factory stock. Extremely light and strong, obviously it was made for it but I can't imagine finding anything lighter or more efficient to install. Price? I believe it would be spendy of course, especially since it has to do with a boat. Call Zodiac or Avon.
