I just went through the same desicion making process.  Last year, I was looking at all kinds of boats, I finally decided to lower my bills, and got a 18' Crestliner with evenrude 90/70 jet.  while this set up cost a little under 14K, with ramps, I can haul a 4 wheeler, not go super fast doing so though.  I have found when hunting along the rivers, I do more walking than anything else, and rarely take the wheeler along.  while it makes getting game out easier in some cases, it isn't practicle most of the time due to ground conditions.  where I can walk, but it would get stuck quickly.  and walking leaves a lot less footprint on the ground.  anyway, just my experience, good luck with what ever you decide on.  Thanks for serving.
