Float trip recommendations
Posted by scothill on Apr 05 2006
My father brother and I are working on putting together a float trip in the Fairbanks area in September.  The plan is to use a levitator for all three of us and our gear. The trip focus is primarily to see some beautiful country and get out on the water. If we can fit some hunting in that would work well. My dad it is located in Fairbanks so he has the cability to do some advance scouting for us but my brother and I will be the boaters.  That being said we will have about 5-6 days for the float and would prefer class I and II water.  Are there any areas or trips in particular that we should look at? We would like to keep costs down so a drop off from the road and pick up from a road would be great.  I have Larry's book coming are their any other information sources that you would recommend?

Any help is appreciated.
