8hp vs 9.9hp

Fish Witch, thanks for the input. There is a price difference between the motors but according to the specs the weight is the same. I've pretty well decided on the 8hp, unless someone has different advice. ALASKACUB, thanks for the offer but my main motor is a mercury and I want to keep them looking the same....maybe some black spray paint on the Honda cowling????
