16 ft Klamath boat

Appreciate any input on the Klamath 16 ft EXW windshield model alum boat for use in area's like Prince of Whales AK.Rec.HP? Also any suggestions of a good lightweight "safe" boat for safe small boat use in AK. I have fished P of W several times with my Boston Whaler 16 ft Dauntless but feel the Whaler is to stern heavy due to 90 HP merc plus 45 gal gas tank and of course fisherman. I do understand its a displacement problem, boat weighs 1400 lbs bare hull. With more than two fisherman boat fuel use increases tremendiously. Also would an 18 ft Klamath be much better? Thanks WK
