I have a 20 foot bayrunner (same hull as a Klamath) with a 70hp 2 stroke. I have a few friends with 18' klamath's, and another with a bayrunner. They are the perfect hull for running rivers, lakes, and some moderate chop in Salt Water. I have been in 3-6 foot seas, I did fine, but I was glad to be home. They have a very high pitched bow, which makes them do fantastic in chop. Especially with electric trim & tilt. You can bury the sharp point of the bow into the waves and it really smooths things out. Check out our group website [email protected]
