first trips?
Posted by northriver on Apr 17 2006
hey everyone,

been a long time since i been on here. used to go by outdoor jon but for some reason i cant get that name to work any longer. anyway was just wondering how everyones spring is goin. ive been out of whittier twice so far this spring to burn the cobwebs out of the boats. my buddies boat went out first and we had a beautiful day to venture out and check for bugs. limited out on rockfish and had porpises playing around the boat for a couple hours. turns out my buddies thrust bearing was on its wayout and he got busy as soon as we got back to town. i took my boat out a few weeks later and had not such good luck with the weather or fishing but boat ran good and is ready for the season to come. goin to head out to the northern end of knight this coming weekend weather permitting and poke around for some good fishing holes and good times around a campfire on the beach. good luck to all this boating season and be safe out there.
