My buddy has a 2005 Etec 90 jet and had a few issues with it originally. When it was in cold water (knik river) the low oil buzzer kept going off until the engine had been running for 10-15 mins. He took it back to the dealer and evidently it was some sort of a break in setting and once it was adjusted he hasn't had any problems.
